Yet, in pursuit of our own meaning, we decided to live our own way, ignoring God and His plan. Our selfish ways (sin) separate us from relationship with God, leaving us broken and empty.
Out of love, and knowing we couldn’t fix our brokenness, God sent His Son, Jesus, to earth as the solution. Jesus lived a perfect life, yet chose to die to pay the penalty for our selfish ways. He then rose back to life, defeating death.
Because Jesus died, we are no longer separated from God. We have a way back into relationship with Him. Jesus is the way to true freedom, meaning and purpose. By defeating death, we know He is God’s Son.
To live in this freedom we must admit our brokenness, ask for forgiveness, and choose to let Jesus lead our lives. Only then can we live fulfilled and happy lives. Jesus changes everything. Forever.
